5 Rax Reaver Drop

A one-base all-in that rushes robotics facility into shuttle and reaver, then drops the reaver directly into Terran's main mineral line. A single reaver scarab on clustered SCVs can kill four or five workers instantly, crippling Terran's economy. This is one of the highest-damage timing attacks in PvT.

Execution demands precise shuttle micro — ferry the reaver in, fire a scarab, and pick up immediately before marines can focus it down. If the first drop succeeds, continue dropping while adding gateways. The key timing window is before Terran has enough turrets and marines to shut down shuttle paths.

Best used when you scout a greedy Terran opening with late turrets, or on maps where the main base has vulnerable mineral line access from air. If the reaver is killed or the drop is scouted and prepared for, you are stuck on one base with expensive tech and no economic advantage. Transition by expanding behind reaver pressure if you deal significant damage. Weak against early engineering bay and turret placement.
