2 Port Wraith

An air-control strategy that opens with two starports producing wraiths continuously. The goal is to establish air superiority and use cloaked wraiths to snipe siege tanks, harass SCVs, and deny expansions — dominating opponents who commit to pure ground mech without adequate anti-air.

Build both starports as quickly as possible after your initial factory. Research cloaking field at one starport while producing wraiths from both. Your first wraith pair should arrive at the opponent's base before turrets are up. Focus fire on siege tanks and SCVs repairing them. Keep wraith count growing and avoid losing them to turret clusters.

This build works best when you scout your opponent going heavy mech without early turrets or goliaths. It is strongest on maps where ground armies must travel far, giving wraiths time to harass. Weak if the opponent scouts the double starport and responds with early goliaths and turrets — in that case you have invested heavily in air tech with nothing to show for it. Transition into ground mech once wraith count is sufficient for map control.
